Thermal imaging camera “Owl”
The uncooled thermal imaging camera OWL is meant for day-night detection, recognition and observation of objects at medium distances (up to several kilometers), in particular, under adverse weather conditions (forest fire smoke formation, dust, haze, fog) and under jamming conditions (direct light of headlamps, projectors, etc).
The thermal imaging camera OWL uses the advanced technology of uncooled microbolometers. It operates in LW and IR range. The main part of intrinsic electromagnetic radiation of the majority of natural and artificial objects, surrounding us, is concentrated in IR spectrum area. The application of high quality Germanium optics with auto focus enables to effectively use the microbolometer capabilities.
